The book stock of our library amounts to 22,500 volumes; there is the collection of the Biblioteca Benedettucci which makes up around 45,000 volumes, 25 incunabula, rare and unique prints, valued handcrafted items. There are 150 study stations in the room, while there are six internet stations.
The library offers users a variety of spaces such as reading books for teens; rooms for young adults and adults; it is accessible to the disabled; a Wi-Fi connection is also available in the library.
The library offers the service of interlibrary loans, it has its own timesheet system, it participates in the National Library System and the catalogue is published in Opac online.
It proposes courses and meetings for learning to search for information and documents, activities and initiatives destined for kids and teens (the most significant workshops include traditional animated readings and readings in English; Christmas events in the Library and “Invasioni Poetiche”, “Mostra mercato Libro per Ragazzi”). It also hosts meetings with authors, guided tours in the library, meetings of the “Leggendo” Association; it is part of the project “Nati per Leggere” with a programme that foresees a course for volunteer readers for 2015.
